Khursheed Ahmed
Khursheed Ahmed was born on 1956 in Rahim Yar Khan. He was amongst the best Naat Khawan of his era. He was a typist in Radio Pakistan and Mehdi Zaheer introduced him on Radio Pakistan. Alhaj Khursheed Ahmed recited Naats in various languages includes Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Sindhi Pashto etc. His first Naat on PTV was in 1978. He got fame from the Naat Zameen o Zaman Tumharay Liye. Some other popular Naats are Yeh sub-Tumhara Karam Hai Aaqa, Janay Walo Ye Tu Batao, Jashne Amade Rasool, Mehboob Ki Mehfil Ko and so on. He was awarded Pride of performance award and Nigar Award. Alhaaj Khursheed Ahmed died with Brain Hemorrhage. May Allah grant him the place in Jannat-tu-Firdus Ameen.
