Waheed Zafar Qasmi
Waheed Zafar Qasmi was born in 1962. He was a famous Naat Khawan and Qari. He Hifz the Quran-e-Majeed at the age of nine years. Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi started his career from Radio Pakistan in 1970. His most beautiful recitation of Quran gives him international recognition. He taught Quran Majeed for many years on PTV. He won many national and international awards including Pride of performance award in 1984. His first popular Naat is Allah Hu Allah Hu. Some other popular Naats are Faslon Ko Takalif hay, Zahe muqadar & Midhat us ki. Naat Khawan like Umme Habiba, Javed Akhtar, Roshan Ara Samad are students of Qasmi Sahib.
